Terms of Servce

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BidTable ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. One account per person.
3. Projects and Payments
BidTable facilitates connections between clients and freelancers. We are not a party to the agreements formed between users. Payments are processed through our escrow system and are released upon client approval of deliverables.
BidTable charges an 8% service fee to freelancers on completed project payments. There are no fees for clients.
4. Disputes
If a dispute arises between a client and freelancer, BidTable's support team will mediate. Our decision is final with respect to the release of escrowed funds. We may request documentation from either party during the dispute process.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use BidTable to:
- Circumvent the escrow system or arrange off-platform payments
- Create fake accounts, reviews, or portfolio items
- Harass or threaten other users
- Post illegal, harmful, or infringing content
- Scrape data or use automated tools without permission
6. Intellectual Property
Work product created by freelancers belongs to the client upon full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Freelancers retain the right to display completed work in their portfolio unless the client requests otherwise.
7. Limitation of Liability
BidTable is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the quality of any freelancer's work, the accuracy of user profiles, or the outcome of any project. BidTable Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time from your profile settings. Escrowed funds for in-progress projects will be handled per our dispute resolution process.
