How BidTable Works
Post a project, receive bids from vetted freelancers, and hire with confidence. Here's the full process.
Post your project
Describe what you need, pick a category (web design, branding, illustration, etc.), and set your budget range. The more detail you include, the better bids you'll get.
Most projects get their first bid within a few hours. You can also invite specific freelancers to bid if you've found someone you like in the Explore section.
Review bids and shortlist
Freelancers submit bids with their proposed price, timeline, and a cover message explaining their approach. You can see their full profile, past reviews, and portfolio.
Shortlist your top 3 candidates to narrow things down. You can message any bidder directly to ask questions before deciding.
Hire and set milestones
Once you pick a freelancer, you'll agree on milestones and fund the first one. Your payment is held in escrow until you approve the deliverable.
For bigger projects, you can set multiple milestones (e.g., wireframes, first draft, final delivery). Each milestone is funded and released separately.
Collaborate and approve
Work with your freelancer through our messaging system. Share files, give feedback, and request revisions. When you're happy with the work, approve the milestone to release payment.
After the project wraps up, both sides leave reviews. These reviews are public and help the community make better hiring decisions.
